Job Description

Role Overview: As a Network and System Engineer, your role will involve designing and implementing local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network infrastructure components based on organizational requirements. This includes configuring switches, routers, firewalls, and other networking equipment. Additionally, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining servers, including operating system installation, configuration, patching, and performance tuning. Monitoring system health, diagnosing and resolving system issues, and ensuring system security and data integrity will also be part of your key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and implementing LANs, WANs, and network infrastructure components based on organizational requirements - Administering and maintaining servers, including operating system installation, configuration, patching, and performance tuning - Identifying and troubleshooting network and system issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing appropriate solutions - Implementing and maintaining network and system security measures, ensuring compliance with organizational security policies and industry best practices - Creating and maintaining network and system documentation, generating reports on performance, availability, and utilization - Providing technical support to end users, troubleshooting and resolving network and system-related issues Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - Minimum of 1 year of experience in network and system engineering or a related role - Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols - Hands-on experience with networking equipment, such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points - Knowledge of server operating systems, such as Windows Server and Linux, and system administration tasks - Familiarity with network and system security concepts, tools, and best practices - Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong communication and documentation skills,
