Role & responsibilities Desktop Support Engineer: Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues. Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software. Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person. Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up workstations and providing training. Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions. Install and configure operating systems, software applications, and peripherals. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Manage technology inventory and order equipment as needed. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams. Skills: Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Knowledge of computer hardware and software. Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Customer service skills. IT Hardware and Network Engineer: Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain computer networks. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues. Monitor network performance and ensure optimal performance. Install and configure network devices (routers, switches, firewalls). Maintain and update network documentation. Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure network security and reliability. Research and evaluate new technologies for network infrastructure. Skills: Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems). Familiarity with various network operating systems (Windows Server, Linux). Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
