Requirement: CCNA-Certified Engineer

Experince - 3+years

The engineer should have knowledge and experience to work with networking devices and protocols, configuration of Switches (Layer-2 & Layer-3) and security' devices such as firewall and antivirus etc.

The on-site engineer shall take care of jobs mentioned in SOW. He shall attend to any break down maintenance calls and carry' out all kind of miscellaneous maintenance jobs pertaining to the network.

He will act as the first respondent upon receipt of a daily complaints as well as the
maintenance work..

Maintenance and Operations of Network Switches and racks, helping users for Network related issues, maintaining physical end-to-end connectivity of the network, providing assistance in addition / alteration of network points, co-ordination with ISP in case of any failure of WAN (Internet) connectivity shall be the responsibility of network engineer.

He shall carry out all the following network related jobs like:

i. To attend the computer network complaints on daily basis and maintaining the log books.

ii. Configurations and replacement of L3 & L2 switches if required.

iii. He shall able to trace out the fault with respect to Cat6 cables or I/O problems, termination of Cat6 cables on patch panel, crimping and punching of Cat6 cables etc.

iShifting of Network devices such as PCs, Servers. Display Monitors. Rack etc. V. During preventive maintenance, cleaning of active and passive networking devices such as L3 & L2 switches at site and server room. Servers of BRIT, Racks range 9U to 42U Racks etc. from outside with liquid cleaner should be done once in a quarter.

Preventive maintenance will be carried out on quarterly basis which involves checking health condition of switches. Cleaning of racks, switches, rack cooling fan, cat 6 cables inside. Also make sure cable tie, dressing, tagging in existing racks are proper.
