Job Description

As a software engineer at Capgemini, you will be responsible for dealing with support escalations from Level 1 team, including complex user and monitoring support queries, with as minimal as possible escalations to L3 teams. You will engage in ITIL, Incident Management, SLA, Problem Management, and Release Management processes on day-to-day operations. Your role will involve planning and executing proactive non-ticket tasks such as automation or tool implementations. Additionally, you will perform health checks twice a day and create, update, and amend relevant production support documentation. It is expected that you use firm standard support tools and processes and provide weekend support or off-business hours support if needed. Key Responsibilities: - Deal with support escalations from Level 1 team, including complex user and monitoring support queries - Engage in ITIL, Incident Management, SLA, Problem Management, and Release Management processes - Plan and execute proactive non-ticket tasks such as automation or tool implementations - Perform health checks twice a day - Create, update, and amend relevant production support documentation - Use firm standard support tools and processes - Provide weekend support or off-business hours support if needed Qualifications Required: - Primary skill in DotNet Developer with Application Support experience - Debugging and analytical skills - Exposure to Client-side JavaScript, HTML frameworks, CSS, Server-side frameworks (MVC / IIS), Scripting C#.NET, ASP.NET - Experience with WCF, Microservices, Rest services, Soap, XML - Exposure to database knowledge in SQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, and Oracle as Database (At least one should have MongoDB) - Secondary Skills in Finance / Banking domain (preferable), APM tools such as Control M, App Dynamics, Service Now, ITIL, Public Cloud Azure experience (preferable) Capgemini is a global business and technology transformation partner with a strong heritage of over 55 years.
