Job Description

As a Network Engineer at Neoprism, your responsibilities will include: - Installing, Configuring, and Maintaining Cisco IP and Optical Routers such as ASR9912, ASR9910, ASR9903, Cisco 8K. - Demonstrating expertise in Networking Protocols and Service Configurations including OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, LISP, VxLAN, IPv6, MPLS LDP, MPLS TE, RSVP, VPWS, VPLS, L3VPN, TE-Tunnel, and Segment Routing. - Utilizing knowledge on Switching Technologies like STP, RSTP, RSVP-TE, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP, VLAN, VXLAN, EVPN, and LISP. - Providing Planning, Designing, Implementation, Operation, and Optimization assistance to Customers regarding Ciscos IP and optical solutions. - Demonstrating good business judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with technical teams. - Applying creative problem-solving and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills. - Simplifying, communicating, and educating customers about complex data and processes. - Delivering 2/3 IP network deployment projects or optical networking projects for large Service Providers. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelors or Master's degree in a technical field like Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication/Electrical/Computer Engineering, or similar. - 8 - 10 years of experience in technical consulting, design, deployment, and troubleshooting. - Possession of technical certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CCIE (Routing & Switching / Service Provider).
