Native Android Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Android Developer with over 8 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining native Android applications. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem, strong problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of developing high-performance, reliable, and user-centric mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native Android applications. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Kotlin/Java code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and QA engineers.
• Implement and optimize VoIP calling features using Android’s Telecom framework. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs, and improve application performance and stability.
• Stay updated with the latest Android technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in native Android app development. Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Solid understanding of Android architecture components, Jetpack libraries, and Material Design principles.
• Experience with VoIP calling, SIP, and Android Telecom framework is a strong plus. Deep knowledge of mobile design patterns and best practices.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and third-party SDKs. Familiarity with performance optimization, memory management, and battery efficiency. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
