National Operations Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage daily plant operations across all sites ensuring adherence to production schedules, output, and quality benchmarks.
• Drive standardization of operational processes and best practices across locations.
• Oversee ink formulation process efficiencies and plant-specific challenges
• To improve profitability by yield improvement, energy conservation, process time cycle reduction.
• Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production as per quality standards.
• Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.
• To ensure the standard operating procedures are available at all processes and are followed by maintaining safe practices at plant.

• To ensure the Quality objectives of all departments are available & they are adhering and provide resources to fulfil if required.
• Plan, lead, and execute key capital expenditure (CapEx) and cost-saving projects.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and supply chain teams on plant expansions, automation, energy optimization, or technology upgradation.
• Track and report project progress, timelines, and ROI.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum of 18+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in chemicals, inks, paints, coatings or related industries.
• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering / Production / Industrial Engineering. Masters in Operations or MBA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lean principles and operational excellence tools.
