Role & responsibilities Manage daily plant operations across all sites ensuring adherence to production schedules, output, and quality benchmarks. Drive standardization of operational processes and best practices across locations. Oversee ink formulation process efficiencies and plant-specific challenges To improve profitability by yield improvement, energy conservation, process time cycle reduction. Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production as per quality standards. Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary. To ensure the standard operating procedures are available at all processes and are followed by maintaining safe practices at plant. To improve profitability by yield improvement, energy conservation, process time cycle reduction. Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production as per quality standards. Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary. To ensure the standard operating procedures are available at all processes and are followed by maintaining safe practices at plant. To ensure the Quality objectives of all departments are available & they are adhering and provide resources to fulfil if required. Plan, lead, and execute key capital expenditure (CapEx) and cost-saving projects. Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and supply chain teams on plant expansions, automation, energy optimization, or technology upgradation. Track and report project progress, timelines, and ROI. Preferred candidate profile Minimum of 18+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in chemicals, inks, paints, coatings or related industries. Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering / Production / Industrial Engineering. Masters in Operations or MBA preferred. Strong knowledge of lean principles and operational excellence tools.
