Job Title: Music Teacher (Instrumental) Location: On-site, India Role Responsibilities Teach instrumental music to students of various ages and skill levels. Develop lesson plans that are engaging, educational, and tailored to each student. Assess students' progress and adjust instruction as needed. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Provide individual and group instruction on various musical instruments. Encourage student participation in music-related activities and performances. Organize and lead music competitions and showcases. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress. Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate music with other subjects. Introduce students to a variety of genres and styles of music. Utilize various teaching methods and resources, including technology. Stay current with musical trends and incorporate them into the curriculum. Engage with parents and provide regular updates on student progress. Prepare students for external music examinations. Attend staff meetings and contribute to school music programs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field. Proven experience as a music teacher or in a similar position. Strong proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument. Knowledge of music theory and composition. Ability to create a dynamic and inspiring learning environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with a diverse student population. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Creative approach to teaching music. Ability to work collaboratively with other educators. Patience and understanding toward students' learning processes. Commitment to continuous professional development. Familiarity with different teaching platforms and technology in music education. Passion for music and teaching. Strong performance skills in live settings. Positive classroom management skills.
