Job Description

We are seeking a

Mulesoft API Gateway Engineer

with expertise in

API management, gateway security, and enterprise integration

. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with

Mulesoft Flex Gateway, Anypoint Platform, and API development

, along with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

API Gateway Management & Support

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot
Mulesoft Flex Gateway and Anypoint Platform
.

Implement
API Gateway features
such as
security, rate limiting, routing, certificates, TLS/MTLS
.

Develop and test enterprise
integration APIs
using
Mulesoft API Manager
.

Ensure compliance with
API Specification standards (RAML, OAS)
.

Technical Support & Incident Management

Provide
technical support
for API Gateway-related issues, ensuring system reliability.

Work with
Salesforce Experience Hub API Catalog/Portal
for API management.

Utilize
ServiceNow
or similar
incident management tools
to resolve API-related issues.

Infrastructure & Development Tools

Work with
Linux servers
, scripting, and
networking
for API performance optimization.

Monitor and analyze API performance using
Redis servers, New Relic dashboards, and Postman
.

Manage source control using
GitHub
, with experience in
GitHub Actions
(preferred).

Qualifications & Skills:

5+ years of experience
in the
IT industry
.

1-2 years of hands-on experience
with
Mulesoft Flex Gateway & Anypoint Platform
.

Strong knowledge of
REST APIs, API management, and API security best practices
.

Experience with
Linux administration, scripting, and networking
(2+ years).

Familiarity with
Redis, Postman, New Relic, and ServiceNow
.

Excellent
problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
.

Strong
communication skills
to work across multiple teams and business units.
