Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Senior BI Developer
with strong expertise in the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design and develop scalable BI solutions and contribute to strategic decision-making through efficient data modeling, ETL processes, and insightful reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL packages using SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports using SSRS and Power BI (if applicable).
- Implement and manage OLAP cubes and data models using SSAS (Multidimensional/Tabular).
- Develop and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize BI solutions for performance and scalability.
- Lead BI architecture improvements and ensure efficient data flow.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.
- Mentor and support junior BI developers as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft BI Stack: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server (2016 or later) and advanced T-SQL.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star/snowflake schemas, and fact/dimension models.
- Experience with Power BI is a plus.
- Exposure to Azure Data Services (ADF, Azure SQL, Synapse) is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
