Job Description

Job Title: MS SQL Server Administrator

Experience: 6+ Years

Location: Chennai

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

Drive Date: Sunday (27th Jul 25)

Interview Mode: Virtual

JD Summary:

The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of critical SQL Server systems to ensure availability and performance of enterprise applications.

Key Skills Required:

6+ years’ experience in MS SQL Server Administration
Experience with PostgreSQL is a plus
24x7 support for critical production systems
Strong understanding of database structures and best practices
Performance tuning, query optimization using native and third-party tools
Backup, restore, recovery, and handling DB corruption
Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions
Work with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
Experience with managing PaaS & IaaS environments
Hands-on with TDE, SSL certificates, and encryption management
Windows Server and Active Directory knowledge
