Mould Maker

Roles and Responsibilities1. Mould Fabrication

• Manufacture new moulds based on engineering drawings and specifications.
• Machine mould components using CNC, VMC, lathe, milling, and grinding machines.
• Fit, assemble, and finish mould parts with high precision.

2. Mould Maintenance & Repair

• Inspect moulds for damage, wear, or defects.
• Perform routine maintenance, polishing, and cleaning of moulds.
• Repair or replace worn-out components to ensure mould longevity.

3. Tooling Design & Interpretation

• Read and interpret 2D and 3D mould design drawings (CAD models).
• Understand mould flow, cooling channels, ejector pins, and parting lines.
• Suggest improvements for mould performance and durability.

4. Accuracy & Quality Control

• Ensure mould dimensions meet the required tolerances.
• Use precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, etc.).
• Conduct trial runs and make necessary adjustments.

5. Machine Operation

• Operate manual and CNC machines for mould fabrication.
• Perform grinding, drilling, tapping, and other machining operations.
• Set machining parameters and troubleshoot machining issues.

6. Problem Solving & Troubleshooting

• Identify defects such as flash, short shots, or warpage in molded products.
• Recommend solutions and modifications to improve mould performance.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve mould-related issues.

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of mould maintenance, repair history, and part replacement.
• Prepare reports for mould condition and required tooling updates.
• Track materials and tool usage.

8. Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with machine and tool safety standards.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

9. Collaboration

• Work closely with designers, engineers, and production supervisors.
• Coordinate with vendors or tool makers when outsourcing jobs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,270.79 - ₹25,000.00 per month
