Job Description

Job Title: Mould Flow Analysis Engineer – Design Department

Key Responsibilities:

Perform mould flow simulations to analyse fill patterns, weld lines, air traps, shrinkage, and warpage.
Optimize gate, runner, and cooling designs for efficient moulding.
Provide design recommendations to improve mouldability and part quality.
Validate simulation results with mould trials and update designs accordingly.
Troubleshoot moulding issues and support root cause analysis.
Coordinate with design, tooling, production, and quality teams to resolve issues.
Maintain best practices and stay updated with latest mould flow techniques.

Required Qualifications:

B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years’ experience in mould flow analysis & injection moulding processes.
Strong knowledge of plastics, tooling, and CAE simulation tools (Moldflow / Moldex3D).
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks / NX / CATIA).
Knowledge of DFMEA, Lean/Six Sigma, and process validation.
Relevant certification in mould flow/injection moulding.
