Job Summary:

Chip Level / Motherboard Repair Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair laptop/desktop motherboards at

  chip level

  .
• Troubleshoot issues related to

  power, display, charging, heating, I/O ports, BIOS

  , etc.
• Perform

  BGA reballing, reflow, SMD soldering, IC replacement

  .
• Use tools such as

  multimeter, DC power supply, oscilloscope, hot air gun, soldering station

  .
• Identify faulty components like

  MOSFET, capacitor, resistor, IC, GPU, PCH

  .
• Maintain service reports and update repair status regularly.
• Ensure high-quality repairs with minimum return cases.
• Work with the service team to maintain inventory of components.
• Follow safety standards and ESD precautions while handling components.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / ITI / Certification in Electronics, Hardware Engineering, or related field.

• 2+ years of chip-level repair experience

  (preferred).
• Strong understanding of electronics circuits and schematics.
• Expertise in

  soldering/desoldering (SMD/BGA)

  .
• Ability to troubleshoot motherboard faults accurately.
• Knowledge of BIOS programming & firmware flashing (optional but preferred).
• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Must be able to work independently and handle complex repairs.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple repair tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range:

Based on skills & experience.
