Job Description

We are hiring for Mortgage underwriter -

Key Responsibilities:

Review borrower profiles credit, income, assets, collateral, and compliance.
Analyze loan data consistency across AUS (DU/LP), Fraud Guard reports, and system data.
Evaluate collateral including appraisal, title, insurance, and sales contracts.
Interpret FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA & USDA guidelines and apply them to loan files.
Verify LTV, DTI, and HTI ratios to ensure compliance with company standards.
Document underwriting decisions and communicate findings clearly.
Maintain adherence to company policies and ensure data accuracy using tools and calculators.

Skills Required:

Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Good written communication and documentation ability.
Excellent attention to detail and understanding of mortgage guidelines.
Tech-savvy with an IT background (preferred).
