Mortgage Servicing Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities :

Loan Servicing & Account Management
• Manage daytoday servicing of mortgage loans including payment processing, escrow management, and account maintenance.• Review and validate loan documents, payment histories, and escrow analyses.• Handle customer inquiries related to loan balances, statements, interest rates, and payment schedules.• Process loan modifications, assumptions, payoffs, and reconveyances as per guidelines.Escrow & Tax/Insurance Administration• Conduct escrow analysis, manage shortages/surpluses, and ensure timely disbursement of taxes and insurance.• Coordinate with tax authorities, insurance companies, and borrowers to resolve discrepancies.

• Manage a portfolio of mortgage loans from origination to resolution, ensuring timely payment and minimizing defaults.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer queries, negotiate settlements, and implement collection strategies.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in loan operations processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards throughout the entire lifecycle of each loan.

Job Requirements :

• 2-9 years' experience in mortgage servicing or related field (e.g., loan operations).
• Strong understanding of escrow management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
