Role Overview:

Mortgage Broking Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and lodging loan applications through broker platforms such as ApplyOnline or other aggregator systems.
• Conduct initial client checks, including fact-finding, credit checks, and documentation collection.
• Coordinate with lenders and clients to ensure all required documents are accurate and submitted on time.
• Track the progress of loan applications, providing regular updates to brokers and clients.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and application statuses in CRM systems.
• Support post-settlement processes, including follow-ups with clients and lenders.
• Conduct research on mortgage products, interest rates, and lending criteria to support broker recommendations.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance service delivery.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications in finance, business, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Previous experience in mortgage broking or financial services is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in mortgage broking platforms (e.g., ApplyOnline) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• A proactive and customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
