Mopar Service Engineer - Interior/Exterior Trim and Glass - PAE

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Exterior/Interior service parts engineering
• Knowledge about on Glass and windshield
• Good knowledge on APQP process and follow with team to get product launch on time
• Prepare the Feasibility Review, Technical review, & process documents for review
• Knowledge of plastic polymers, coatings and plating process and materials for trim and badges
• Release Source Packages based on the Product requirement
• Develop DVP requirements for the service parts
• Plan, Coordinate and execute technical reviews with the potential suppliers for new products
• Understand the vehicle and Product design to support supplier on the design and approval
• Track the Project status sequent and update management on escalation
• Develop tool, die, Fixtures with supplier and kick off
• Co-ordinate across cross functional teams / suppliers for smooth work flow
• Initiate Engineering changes and track it till implementation & record it in the tracker
• Document all projects relevant Engineering approvals and documents
• Lessons Learned: Gather historical data on regulatory documents and summarize all Lessons Learned to define corrective actions for next generation product launches
• Create Best Practices as and when required to establish the robust process and ensure the product quality
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
  

Essential Skills

• Experience in product development and manufacturing process
• Design, Functional Integration analysis
• Intermediate Skill set in NX
• Good Knowledge in GD&T concepts & Change Management.
• Vehicle Exteriors and Interiors knowledge
• Component level & system level Testing knowledge
