Join us and be part of a team that's shaping the future of technology! Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have 2-5+ years of experience in developing, customizing, and optimizing Shopify stores, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional eCommerce solutions for our diverse client base. Primary Responsibilities Develop, customize, and optimize high-performance Shopify themes and templates based on detailed project requirements and design specifications. Implement and configure Shopify apps and third-party integrations to extend store functionality and enhance user experience. Create and maintain custom Shopify applications using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to Shopify stores, including performance bottlenecks, compatibility issues, and general platform errors. Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of designs and a cohesive user experience. Stay abreast of the latest Shopify updates, platform features, best practices, and emerging eCommerce trends to continuously improve development processes and solutions. Work on Shopify Plus projects, including advanced customizations, headless commerce implementations, and API-based solutions for complex business needs. Contribute to the overall architecture and technical design of Shopify projects. Ensure all development adheres to best practices for code quality, security, and scalability. Technical Requirements Strong Proficiency : Expert-level command of Liquid templating language, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and JSON. Shopify Ecosystem : Extensive experience with Shopify APIs (Storefront, Admin, REST, GraphQL), webhooks, and the end-to-end Shopify app development lifecycle. Theme Development : Proven experience in Shopify theme customization, development from scratch, and performance optimization techniques for Shopify stores (e.g., image optimization, lazy loading, code splitting). Backend Knowledge : Ability to handle backend development tasks using technologies such as Laravel, Node.js, or other relevant backend frameworks/technologies as needed for custom integrations or server-side logic. Integrations : Familiarity with integrating third-party services, APIs, and payment gateways (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, etc.) within the Shopify ecosystem. SEO : Understanding of SEO best practices specifically tailored for Shopify platforms to ensure optimal search engine visibility. Version Control : Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborative development workflows. Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues and find effective solutions. Independence : Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Frameworks And Tools (Preferred, Not Mandatory) Shopify Plus : Experience working on Shopify Plus projects and leveraging its advanced features. Front-end Frameworks : Familiarity with modern front-end JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js.
