Job Description

Mobile Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain mobile test automation frameworks using
Appium
.
Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for
iOS and Android applications
.
Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on mobile applications.
Integrate automated tests with
CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
.
Debug test failures, analyze logs, and work with the development team to resolve defects.
Ensure test automation covers end-to-end scenarios, API interactions, and UI validation.
Stay updated with the latest automation tools, frameworks, and best practices in mobile testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–6 years of experience
in software testing, with at least
2+ years in mobile automation using Appium
.
Strong programming skills in
Java.
Experience in
test frameworks
like TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest.
Proficiency with
Android Studio, Xcode, ADB, iOS simulators, emulators
.
Experience with
REST API testing
(Postman, RestAssured preferred).
Knowledge of
version control systems (Git)
and
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills

Experience with
BDD frameworks
(Cucumber, Behave).
Knowledge of
cloud-based mobile testing platforms
(BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm).
Familiarity with
performance testing tools
for mobile apps.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
