Mobile Application Developer (Android/iOS)

Veriday is seeking a talented and experienced Mobile Application Developer to join our India team on a permanent basis. We are looking for a professional with strong expertise in native Android (Kotlin/Java) and native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Canadian client to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications that meet enterprise standards.

This is a remote position, open to candidates located anywhere in India. However, the selected candidate will be required to overlap partially with Eastern Standard Time (EST) to support client communication and project needs.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, test and maintain native Android and iOS applications.
• Triage, update and resolve support tickets during service hours and maintain service SLA.
• Design and implement advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and for the Android platform using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

What do you need to succeed?

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in mobile development using Android and iOS native platforms.
• Proficiency in Swift and iOS frameworks.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Experience with mobile UI/UX best practices and guidelines.
• Strong understanding of mobile architectures and design patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and APIs integration.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in deploying apps to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and mobile development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
