Machine Learning Engineer / Machine Learning Lead

Location: Remote (India / Vietnam / Canada)

Contract Duration: 2–3 Months

Engagement: 8 hours/day (4 hours flexible + 4 hours mandatory PST overlap)

Role Overview

We are looking for highly skilled Machine Learning Engineers and an experienced Machine Learning Lead to contribute to the design, development and optimization of advanced data and AI-driven systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong hands-on programming experience in Python, deep problem-solving ability, and expertise in building scalable machine learning solutions.

The Lead role additionally requires ownership of end-to-end ML lifecycle, technical decision-making & team mentorship.

Key Responsibilities (Common for Both Roles)

• Build, test and optimize Python-based systems for large-scale AI workloads.
• Develop clean, modular, scalable and production-ready codebases.
• Collaborate with data, infrastructure & research teams for integration and deployment.
• Implement best practices across data structures, algorithms, code efficiency & reliability.
• Maintain high coding standards through reviews, documentation, and test coverage.
• Stay current with evolving ML frameworks, tooling and engineering patterns.

Role Specific Expectations

🔹 Machine Learning Engineer (4+ Years)

• Hands-on experience developing production-grade ML or data engineering systems.
• Strong expertise in Python, Pandas, NumPy, AsyncIO, FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Solid problem-solving capability with strong understanding of algorithms & data structures.
• Preferred exposure to competitive coding or performance benchmarks on

  LeetCode / Codeforces / HackerRank / Kaggle.

🔹 Machine Learning Lead (9+ Years)

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle:

  Research → Model Development → Training → Optimization → Deployment.

• Drive architecture, scalability decisions & development standards.
• Mentor team members, review code, and ensure quality delivery.
• Collaborate closely with research, infra and product teams to align technical outcomes with business goals.

Required Skills & Competencies

• 4–10+ years of professional experience in Python-based development.
• Strong knowledge of ML engineering workflows, CI/CD, performance tuning and scaling.
• Ability to work independently and contribute in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking and team collaboration skills.
