Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Executive to join our Collections Loan Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing data, generating reports, and supporting the collections team with actionable insights to improve recovery rates and overall efficiency. Experience in the fintech or NBFC sector is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

MIS & Reporting:

Develop, maintain, and update daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards and reports for collections performance.

Generate reports on key metrics like delinquency rates (DPD buckets), collection efficiency, and recovery performance.

Track field agent productivity, bucket movement, and loan performance trends.

Data Analysis:

Analyze borrower repayment behavior, identify default patterns, and highlight risk areas.

Provide actionable insights to improve collection strategies.

Automation & Process Improvement:

Automate repetitive reporting processes using Excel macros, SQL queries, Power BI, etc.

Collaborate with the tech/product team for report integrations with CRM or collection systems.

Coordination:

Work closely with collection agents, team leaders, and managers to provide real-time data support.

Coordinate with finance, credit, and customer support teams for cross-functional data needs.

Key Skills & Tools:

Strong Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros)

SQL (mandatory or highly preferred)

Power BI / Tableau (good to have)

Google Sheets, Google Data Studio

Knowledge of Loan Management Systems (LMS) / Collection CRMs

Understanding of DPD buckets, NPA classifications, and collection metrics

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Commerce, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field

2 to 5 years of experience in MIS/Data role, preferably in fintech, NBFC, or banking collections

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in a fintech or NBFC working in unsecured/small ticket loans

Exposure to digital collection tools and recovery analytics

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Timeliness and accuracy of MIS reports

Quality of data insights driving business decisions

Level of automation implemented

Stakeholder satisfaction (internal collections team)
