MIS Analyst and regulator reporting-nbfc or bfsi only

MIS Reporting:

o

Develop, prepare, and automate periodic MIS reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) using Excel and Power BI.

o

Create insightful dashboards and visualizations for senior management to track business performance, trends, and KPIs.

o

Support the BIU department in gathering, analysing, and presenting financial, operational, and risk data.

o

Maintain and update reporting templates to ensure consistent data quality and easy integration of new data sources.

2. Data Management & Automation:

o

Automate recurring reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel to reduce manual effort and ensure timely delivery.

o

Maintain a centralized repository of all MIS and regulatory reports, ensuring data integrity and version control.

Business Insights & Analytics:

o

Provide analytical insights to support business decision-making, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities from MIS data.

o

Use Excels advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, formulas) to analyze data and provide in-depth analysis for management.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

o

Collaborate with teams across Sales, Credit, Finance, Risk, Operations, and Product departments to ensure seamless data flow and reporting.

o

Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and provide tailored data insights.

5. RBI and NHB Regulatory Reporting:

o

Prepare and submit regulatory returns to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and National Housing Bank (NHB), ensuring timely and accurate filing of reports such as NHB Monthly, Quarterly, half yearly and yearly reports.

o

Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Credit, Operation, Collection, Finance and Compliance) to ensure alignment between internal MIS and regulatory reporting obligations.

NBFC Product Experience:

o

Utilize knowledge of HFC/ NBFC products (e.g., loans, advances,) to generate customized reports that reflect key business metrics.

o

Work closely with the product and business teams to understand and report on performance metrics related to loans, asset quality, collections, and other product-specific areas.

o

Ensure that product data is accurately captured in MIS reports to track sales performance, Collection report.

Support internal and external audits by providing the required MIS and regulatory reports.

o

Ensure that all reports are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory and organizational standards.

o

Prepare explanations and data validation for discrepancies identified during audits

Educational Qualifications:

o

Any University Bachelors degree, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.

o

Advanced certifications or courses in Data Analytics, Excel, Power BI, or Business Intelligence are a plus.

Technical Skills:

o

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas, data modelling).

o

Proficiency in Power BI for creating interactive dashboards, visualizations, and automated reports.

o

Familiarity with Power Query and Power Pivot to transform and load data into BI tools.

o

Ability to work with large datasets and perform data cleansing and validation.

Regulatory Knowledge:

oStrong understanding of RBI and NHB reporting requirements, including capital adequacy, CRR, SLR, and asset classification.

o

Familiarity with NBFC regulations and its products.

o

Awareness of the regulatory environment surrounding NBFCs in India, and compliance with regulatory deadlines.

Analytical Skills:

o

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and convert them into actionable insights.

o

Experience in identifying business trends, forecasting, and risk analysis from data.

o

Ability to conduct root cause analysis and offer data-drivenrecommendations.

5.

Time Management & Multitasking:

o

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple reports simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

o

Strong organizational skills to track and maintain various reporting timelines.

Experience:

oExperience:

o

3-5 years of experience in MIS, reporting, or data analytics roles, ideally within the financial services or NBFC sector.

o

Previous experience in regulatory reporting for RBI and NHB is highly desirable.
