Description
As a Mid-Level Frontend Engineer you will join a dynamic team focused on creating intuitive and efficient user interfaces for Generative AI applications. Your main role will be to blend UI/UX design best practices with modern frontend development, ensuring applications are both beautiful and functional. Key responsibilities include: Designing, developing, and deploying user-centric interfaces using frameworks such as React, or Next.js, along with CSS libraries (Tailwind, Radix, Styled-Components). Transforming user research into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, with an emphasis on usability and accessibility. Mentoring junior designers and developers on design systems, coding standards, and UI best practices. Enhancing our design system with reusable components to ensure project consistency. Collaborating with product managers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions for Generative AI applications. Implementing agile practices, quickly adapting to feedback, and iterating designs to improve user experience. Key Skills and Experience: Frontend Engineering: Proficient in developing user-centric frontend solutions using modern frameworks like Node.js, and React. This includes creating responsive and interactive web applications that provide a seamless user experience. Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript for building robust and maintainable frontend codebases. Experience with modern CSS libraries and frameworks such as Tailwind CSS and Radix to create visually appealing and consistent designs. UI/UX Design: Skilled in using design tools like Figma to create and optimize designs for web and mobile applications. This includes wireframing, prototyping, and creating high-fidelity mockups. Experience in conducting user testing sessions to gather feedback and iterate on designs to improve usability and user satisfaction. Familiarity with design systems and the ability to create reusable components that ensure consistency across different parts of the application. Agile Development: Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with backend developers, product managers and other stakeholders Nice to have skills: Proficient in using version control systems like Git for managing codebases and collaborating with other developers. Knowledge of performance optimization techniques to ensure fast and efficient web applications. This includes optimizing loading times, reducing bundle sizes, and implementing lazy loading. Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices to ensure that applications are usable by people with disabilities. Education and Experience: Degree: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years in frontend development and UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing user-centric designs and successful projects.
