Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant

Role Overview: You will be responsible for configuring, developing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV/ D365 Business Central software and components across all functional areas. Your role will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand technical requirements, converting functional requirements into technical specifications, providing technical recommendations for installation and upgrades, and testing functionality against business requirements. Additionally, you will analyze, document, and suggest system enhancements to meet business goals and support complex situations such as issue resolution and critical support. Key Responsibilities: - Work with internal stakeholders to scope out modifications and custom development - Provide technical consulting on development, customization, and enhancement of Business Central/Nav - Plan, design, develop, maintain, and support Business Central systems - Analyze, document, and suggest system enhancements through communication with users, management, and customers/vendors - Maintain and administer security settings for Business Central users - Assist sales with modification estimates and presales demos - Resolve functional issues and analyze functional workflow models for different modules - Design and develop Statements of Work (SOW) and create functional documentation - Provide consulting on areas including support and perform gap analysis - Support clients on technical and functional aspects of Nav and Business Central Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of Dynamics NAV Business Central development experience - Strong knowledge of C/AL and experience with AL - Experience in technical design, development, and testing of core Dynamics NAV/Dynamics 365 Business Central granules and add-ons - Proficiency in Dynamics NAV Web Services and Integration - Hands-on experience in end-to-end development projects - Strong functional knowledge in modules like Finance, Sales, Purchase, and Manufacturing - Experience in requirement gathering and mapping using standard methods - Basic understanding of project management tools like DevOps and ServiceNow (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.),
