Experience Requirements

• Overall Experience: 4–5 years in Microsoft ecosystem
• Copilot Experience: 1–2+ years hands-on building Copilot solutions
• Must have real-world delivery experience, not POC-only exposure

Role Overview

We are looking for a freelance Microsoft Copilot Developer with strong, end-to-end experience in Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry–based agents, agent flows, AI prompt engineering, and SPFx.

This role requires someone who can independently design, build, optimize, and extend Copilot agents that work with enterprise data and Microsoft 365 workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build custom Copilot agents using Copilot Studio
• Develop Microsoft Foundry–based agents end-to-end, including:
• Agent flows and orchestration
• Tool / action configuration
• Memory, grounding, and context strategy
• Evaluation and tuning
• Create and manage agent flows integrating:
• Copilot Studio
• Power Automate
• Azure services
• Perform advanced AI prompt engineering:
• System prompts
• Instruction tuning
• Context optimization
• Safety and response control
• Implement RAG-based grounding using:
• SharePoint Online
• Dataverse
• Microsoft Graph
• External APIs
• Build SPFx components to:
• Surface Copilot experiences in SharePoint
• Extend Copilot interactions via custom UI
• Integrate Copilot agents with:
• Microsoft Teams
• SharePoint
• Outlook (where applicable)
• Handle authentication, authorization, and tenant security correctly
• Debug, optimize, and maintain Copilot agent performance

Mandatory Skills

• Copilot Studio – expert level (mandatory)
• Microsoft Foundry agent framework – strong hands-on (mandatory)
• Agent flows & orchestration
• AI prompt engineering (system, task, and grounding prompts)
• SPFx development (TypeScript, React preferred)
• Power Automate (flows used by Copilot agents)
• Microsoft Graph API
• SharePoint Online & Dataverse
• REST APIs, JSON

Good to Have

• Azure OpenAI / AI Builder experience
• Multi-agent or task-based agent architectures
• Experience with enterprise governance, security, and compliance
• Previous freelance or consulting delivery experience
