Position: MICE Operations
Role Purpose
The MICE Operations Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end operations for corporate groups, including itinerary planning, supplier coordination, ticketing, hotel bookings, visas, and event arrangements. The role demands strong operational skills, customer management, and the ability to execute group travel programs with accuracy, speed, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. MICE Planning & Itinerary Development
- Design and present customized MICE itineraries as per client requirements.
- Prepare cost-effective quotations, proposals, and presentations for corporate groups.
- Coordinate with internal teams for travel, hotels, events, logistics, and visas.
2. Group Travel Operations
- Handle group ticketing (domestic & international), hotel reservations, ground transport, and event bookings.
- Ensure timely confirmations, documentation, and travel-related arrangements.
- Manage travel checklists, travel manifests, and rooming lists.
3. Supplier & Vendor Coordination
- Liaise with hotels, DMCs, airlines, event managers, transporters, and visa partners.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, deposits, and terms to maximize profitability.
- Ensure SLA adherence and vendor performance.
4. Client Servicing
- Act as the single point of contact for all corporate MICE clients.
- Manage pre-trip, on-trip, and post-trip coordination.
- Resolve operational issues and ensure high customer satisfaction.
5. Event & On-Ground Coordination
- Support event execution including venue readiness, logistics, and hospitality arrangements.
- Handle crisis situations, last-minute changes, and operational escalations.
6. Reporting & Administration
- Maintain MIS for group bookings, client history, costs, and profitability.
- Ensure proper documentation, billing, and timely closure of files.
- Update CRM and operational databases.

Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in group travel operations, MICE planning & execution.
- Good understanding of air ticketing, hotel systems & visa requirements.
- Supplier negotiation and contract management skills.
- CRM, MS Excel, and MIS handling capabilities.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong time management and multitasking ability.

- Ability to work under pressure & manage event emergencies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Travel Management, Tourism, Hospitality, or Event Management.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in MICE / group operations.
- Exposure to corporate travel handling is a plus.
