Job Description

Key Responsibilities- Daily Gemba walk and daily quality review meeting on shopfloor. Monitoring of resources/ material comsumption/ head counts. Monitoting of Over time / use of temporary head count. To achieve Production, Quality and Cost as per Customer requirement. Co-ordination with line executives for achieving targetted production and Quality. Inventory Control. Interaction with Services/Production related departments for various production related issues. Upgrade technology to meet the quality requirement. Planning for new products, projects, diversification, shop layout and material handling equipment. Drive improvements thru KAIZEN, TPM, POKAYOKE,FFQ, Idea Management, Rewards & Recognition. Activity related to TS 16949, ISO 14001, EHS and safety related system requirements. Plan training for subordinates as per need base. Update and maintain production schedule and maintain production control records. Schedule , plan and conduct production meeting. EHS Responsibilities 1.Ensure the necessary technical and organizational actions regarding environmental protection, occupational health and safety and fire prevention (e.g. guarding fences,drip trays, extinguishing systems, etc.) and prepare and maintain the relevant documentation 2.Correct all short comings regarding environmental protection, occupational health and safety and fire prevention, that cannot be corrected by the team leader (e.g. replacement or repair of unsafe working equipment) and report timely those resources, that are needed for additional, necessary corrective actions, e.g. technical changes to save energy or ensure machine safety (interlock switches, etc.) timely to the direct manager 3.Ensure the compliance with legal requirements of EHS issues that are relevant for their departments 4.Organize, prepare and maintain risk assessments 5.Report accidents and incidents with relevance for environmental protection, occupational health and safety and fire prevention to the respective departments and the direct manager 6.Ensure the implementation of the tasks delegated to the team leaders 7.Cooperate in the continuous improvement regarding environmental protection, occupational health and safety and fire prevention Your Qualifications Education: Masters/Bachelor degree in Engineering Experience & Training: 10 to 15 years in Manufacturing area.
