Qualifications

🎓 Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in

  Mechanical Engineering

  or

  Metallurgical Engineering

  .

• 📈 Experience

• Typically

  5–15 years of foundry experience

  for senior roles.
• Proven expertise in methoding, pattern shop management, tooling, and casting simulation.
• Demonstrated success in reducing scrap, improving yield, and defect analysis.

• 🧑‍💻 Technical Skills

• Proficiency in casting simulation software (e.g.,

  MAGMA, ProCAST, AutoCAST

  ).
• Strong knowledge of gating, risering, and feeding systems for steel castings.
• Familiarity with pattern making, molding processes, and steel metallurgy.

• 👥 Managerial Skills

• Ability to lead and mentor teams in methoding and pattern shops.
• Experience in production scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively across design, production, and quality departments.
