Metallurgist Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Analyze the physical and chemical properties of metals and alloys used in manufacturing. Support production with material selection, heat treatment, and failure analysis. Conduct metallographic testing, hardness testing, tensile testing, etc. Monitor metal forming, casting, forging, and welding processes for quality compliance. Develop and improve metal treatment procedures (e.g., annealing, quenching, tempering). Investigate root causes of metal failures and propose corrective actions. Maintain lab documentation, calibration, and testing records as per ISO/ASTM standards. Collaborate with design, procurement, and quality teams on material standards. Required Qualifications: B.E. / B.Tech in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Metallurgy. 2–4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment. * Job Type: Permanent Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹33,220.54 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Morning shift Experience: Mettalurgist: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
