MERN Stack Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled MERN Stack Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong backend expertise in Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS, along with hands-on frontend experience in React.js and Next.js. Bonus points for knowledge of Laravel and Angular.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS
• Build dynamic and responsive UIs with React.js and Next.js
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and designers
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code
• Conduct code reviews and suggest improvements
• Integrate and manage third-party APIs and services
• Work with databases like MongoDB for data modelling and operations

Required Skills & Experience

• 1.5 to 3 years of hands-on development experience
• Strong backend expertise with:
• Node.js (Core)
• Express.js
• NestJS (Strong command is a must)
• Frontend development skills with:
• React.js
• Next.js
• Experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL DBs
• RESTful API development & WebSocket integration
• Familiar with Git, version control, and CI/CD
• Understanding of performance optimisation and security practices

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Laravel (PHP framework)
• Experience with Angular
• Familiarity with Docker, AWS, or other cloud platforms
• Exposure to serverless functions or architecture

Soft Skills

• Strong logical thinking and debugging skills
