MERN Stack Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. This role requires a strong foundation in full-stack development and a passion for creating efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement user-facing features using React.js and supporting libraries
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Develop and maintain scalable database schemas using MongoDB
• Create and maintain REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 1+ years of experience with MERN stack development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and its modern features (ES6+)
• Deep understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (Redux, Hooks)
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and Express.js
• Expertise in MongoDB database design and operations
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms
• Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Understanding of agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of web security best practices
• Experience with GraphQL
• Familiarity with front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel)
