MEP Piping System Site Engineer

Role Overview: You will be a crucial part of the team as an MEP Piping Site Engineer, responsible for managing and overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) piping systems on construction sites. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure efficient installation, maintenance, and quality control of MEP piping systems while effectively managing both people and projects. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with project managers and design teams to understand project requirements and develop detailed plans and schedules for MEP piping installation activities. - Supervise and manage a team of MEP technicians and engineers, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to junior members while fostering a positive team environment. - Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, industry standards, and safety regulations, implementing quality control measures to uphold high standards in MEP piping systems. - Prepare material take-offs, coordinate procurement of piping materials and equipment, and oversee their storage, handling, and distribution on the construction site. - Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP piping systems, ensuring efficient, safe, and timely completion of work. - Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources for MEP piping systems, ensuring project milestones are met and making necessary adjustments to achieve project goals. - Enforce safety protocols, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and stay updated on industry codes, standards, and best practices. - Identify and resolve technical issues during construction, developing solutions to optimize MEP piping system performance. - Maintain accurate project records, prepare reports for stakeholders, and monitor project expenses related to MEP piping systems for cost-saving opportunities. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering (or equivalent). - Proven experience of 3-5 years as an MEP Piping Site Engineer in construction projects. - Strong knowledge of MEP piping systems, codes, and regulations. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design and drafting software. - Excellent communication and leadership skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.,
