Mep Manager

Job Title:

Job Summary

The MEP Manager will be responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing services across hotel construction projects to ensure safety standards, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

MEP Design & Technical Management

• Review MEP design drawings, GFCs, and shop drawings for compliance with hotel standards.
  
• Validate equipment and materials per specifications and brand/operator requirements.
  
• Coordinate MEP integration with architectural and interior layouts.
  

Execution & Site Coordination

• Monitor MEP contractor execution to ensure installation meets design intent.
  
• Conduct site inspections to verify quality, alignment, and testing progress.
  
• Manage RFIs, technical clarifications, and problem resolutions onsite.
  

Hotel Brand/Operator Compliance

• Liaise with hotel operator technical team (HVAC, electrical, fire safety, kitchen/laundry systems).
  
• Ensure compliance with brand specifications for guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, BOH, and service areas.
  

Project Planning & Control

• Prepare MEP work schedules and ensure alignment with master project plan.
  
• Track project progress and report delays, risks, and mitigating actions.
  

Vendor & Contractor Management

• Coordinate with MEP contractors, equipment suppliers, and specialist consultants.
  
• Review BOQs, material submittals, and purchase support for MEP systems.
  
• snag closure for all services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting etc.).
  
• Ensure close-out documentation such as, warranties, and as-built drawings.
  

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  
• Experience in hotel or hospitality projects is

  highly preferred

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, firefighting, ELV, plumbing, NBC, fire norms & green building compliance
