Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Building on typical MEP and procurement-focused roles in the industry:

Technical & Operational Supervision

Oversee
Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Networking, BMS, Lighting Fixtures, and LMS
systems within the office and factory premises. AmCham EgyptGlassdoor
Supervise
civil works and minor repairs
such as flooring, partitions, and maintenancein line with design specifications and safety standards.

Procurement & Vendor Management

Manage full-cycle procurement for MEP systems: issuing and managing RFQs, RFPs, Purchase Orders, and supplier evaluations.

Negotiate with vendors to optimize cost, quality, lead times, and delivery reliability while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Project Coordination & Compliance

Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and site teams to ensure timely installation, inspection, and maintenance.
Ensure all systems comply with internal standards, project specs, and safety regulations.

Maintain logssuch as daily site reports, progress updates, and procurement documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil)
Experience: 2 - 5 years (preferred)
Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical Panels, Plumbing, Fire Protection, BMS, LMS, Networking)
Hands-on experience in procurement (RFQs, RFPs, POs, Vendor Management, Cost Negotiation)
Ability to interpret technical drawings and structural layouts
Familiarity with preventive & corrective maintenance practices
Strong communication, negotiation, and team coordination skills
Candidates from
