Job Title:

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for MEP systems, including
Electrical
,
HVAC
, and
Fire Hydrant/Fighting
installations.
Develop and analyze
rate breakdowns
based on specifications, tender drawings, and supplier/vendor quotations.
Evaluate and compare quotations from multiple
MEP product suppliers and subcontractors
, especially local vendors in the Pune region.
Coordinate with internal design, procurement, and project execution teams to align estimates with technical and commercial requirements.
Manage a library/database of pricing, vendors, and market trends for continuous improvement of estimation accuracy.
Assist in bid submissions, BOQ preparation, and tender evaluations.
Track variations and cost impacts during project execution phases.

Key Requirements

Bachelors Degree or Diploma in
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
6 - 8 years
of experience in
MEP estimation
, preferably with a
real estate developer
or
EPC contractor
Strong understanding of
HVAC
,
fire-fighting
,
electrical
,
plumbing
, and
ELV systems
Experience in
quantity take-offs
,
costing
, and
budget preparation
Proficient in
AutoCAD
,
MS Excel
, and estimation tools
Excellent
analytical skills
and high
attention to detail
Ability to
read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
