MEP Design Engineer

Job Summary

Aeon Integrated Building Design Consultants LLP is seeking an experienced MEP Design Engineer to manage and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design activities for diverse building projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, multidisciplinary coordination, and end-to-end project delivery capability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate MEP design for residential, commercial, institutional, healthcare, hospitality, and mixed-use projects.
• Prepare and review MEP design calculations, drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (NBC, IS Codes, ASHRAE, NFPA, CPHEEO, and local authority regulations).
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting teams for integrated design solutions.
• Review consultant and contractor shop drawings and resolve technical queries.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and coordination meetings.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and timely delivery of MEP designs.
• Provide technical support during construction and site execution stages.
• Assist in preparation of BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP; BIM coordination experience preferred.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
