Job Summary:

The MEP Billing Manager is responsible for verifying measurements, bills, and managing all MEP-related billing activities for construction projects. This role ensures timely closure of bills, coordination with site teams, verification of BOQ, claimed quantities, checking of MB, actual measurement at site, and tracking payments and variations in line with project progress.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Billing & Documentation:

• Checking of contractor bills for MEP works (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting).
• Verify MEP quantities from GFC drawings and site execution.
• Track and process RA (Running Account) bills, final bills, and reconciliation statements.
• Prepare measurement sheets in coordination with site engineers and quantity surveyors.
• Maintain documentation for internal audits and third-party verification.

2. Coordination:

Coordinate with site execution teams, planning, procurement, and design departments for billing inputs.

• Liaise with site person and consultants for joint measurements and bill certifications.
• Collaborate with subcontractors/vendors for invoice validation and processing.

3. BOQ and Contract Management:

• Verify contractor bills as per BOQ, tender specifications, and work orders.
• Track deviations from BOQ and handle variation claims and rate analysis.
• Monitor and control billing as per project budget and contractual terms.

4. Reporting & Compliance:

• Maintain billing logs, cost tracking, and monthly MIS reports.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, tax regulations (GST/TDS), and statutory compliance.
• Assist in financial forecasting and cash flow projections related to MEP works.
• Key Skills and Competencies:
• In-depth knowledge of MEP systems and billing procedures.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, BOQ, and project specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP systems.
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical.

7 - 10 years of experience in MEP billing in large-scale construction/infrastructure projects.
