Job Summary

Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific

  HSE plans, policies, and procedures

  .
• Conduct

  regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and internal HSE audits

  .
• Ensure compliance with

  statutory safety regulations, client requirements, and company HSE standards

  .
• Investigate

  accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases

  , perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Provide

  safety induction, TBTs, and training programs

  for employees and contractors.
• Maintain accurate

  HSE documentation

  , including incident reports, inspection records, permits, and safety meeting minutes.
• Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of

  ISO 45001:2018

  standards.
• Prepare and submit

  monthly HSE MIS reports

  to clients and Head Office.
• Coordinate with

  clients, consultants, and internal project teams

  on all safety-related matters.
• Promote a strong

  safety culture

  and ensure compliance with safe work practices across sites.
• Support multiple project sites and ensure alignment of safety practices across locations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Engineering with

  ADIS / PDIS Certification (Mandatory)

  .

• 8–10 years

  of experience as a Safety Officer in

  project execution or civil construction

  environments.
• Exposure to

  water & wastewater treatment projects

  will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of

  construction safety, hazard identification, and control measures

  .
• Hands-on experience in

  HSE audits, documentation, and statutory compliance

  .
• Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle

  PAN India site responsibilities

  .
• Willingness to

  travel across India

  as per project requirements.
