Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Conduct & coordinate Project activities, estimation & costing, resource management, tender evaluation & contract management with a flair for adopting modern methodologies.
  • Setup the guidelines and follow the Procurement Policy in all the process.
  • Material management and development of sourcing & procurement strategies, vendor development. Lead the end-to-end sourcing process.
  • Issue various Contracts, AMCs, Rate Contracts, Value Contracts, and Service Contracts.
  • Value Engineering, contract administration & expand vendor database
  • Establish, maintain and report budget, billing and site accounting process.
  • To strategies and develop the contracting strategy for the projects.
  • Draft tender documents &participate in the process of floating tenders.
  • Prepare documents to be submitted for bid. Analyze & cross verify rates for similar work within the company.
  • Estimation, identifying Contractors / Vendors & initial negotiations.
  • Review of BOQ and specifications received from architects and consultants
  • Participate in key contract decisions along with the projects team.
  • Prepare agreement drafts. Draft and maintain records of Purchase Orders.
  • Co-ordination with various internal & external stakeholders for the projects.
  • Ensure that contractors comply with the required statutory compliances.
  • Ensure cost mitigation of claims arising through possible losses / damages, alteration and changes in requirements.
  • Vendor Development & Vendor Relationship Management
  • Ensure vendor issues are addressed appropriately to ensure timely deliveries at the project sites.
  • Run cost reports as requested by Project team or senior management and review all subcontractor/vendor monthly application for payment for accuracy and consistency.

Job Specification

  • Diploma/Degree in Civil engineering with 10 years relevant experience in Billing & Contracts.
  • Strong experience of High-end Residential projects.
  • Knowledge of contract management.
  • Risk assessment and management.
  • Good communication skills
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Knowledge of contract law & legal interpretation.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
