To take complete charge of getting great products out — fast. From concept to delivery, your job is to make sure D&K has hero products that fit well, look exceptional, and are ready on time. No excuses.

Core Responsibilities:

Build Winning Products

• Translate brand vision into sellable product lines — focus on shirts, polos, chinos, tees, jackets.

• Combine design thinking + customer psychology to develop high-performing styles.

• Curate tight collections — fewer pieces, higher impact.

Speed Up Product Development

• Slash product dev time from 60–90 days → under 30–45 days.

• Create and maintain tech packs, BOMs, blocks that reduce vendor confusion.

• Build a product calendar with strict deadlines, weekly check-ins, and visual progress.

Own Sampling to Production Flow

• Lead all sampling with vendors — no delays, no half-baked samples.

• Ensure fit, construction, and fabric feel premium before giving green light.

• Control trims, wash, dyeing, finishing — you are the filter before bulk.

Solve Vendor & Manufacturing Bottlenecks

• Build a strong vendor ecosystem — sampling vendors, bulk units, trims & fabric suppliers.

• Set up performance metrics for vendors: TAT, quality, communication.

• Eliminate dependency on any one vendor — always have backups.

Lead Cross-Team Alignment

• Align with founder on brand direction, style clarity, and product priorities.

• Ensure coordination between design, ops, marketing, and sales.

• Support visual team with style sheets, color references, and outfit pairings.

Must-Have Skills:

• Deep experience in premium menswear (not mass-market)

• Strong grip on fabrics, sizing, construction, and technical design

• Ability to get hands dirty — from sourcing to final QC

• Built product lines from scratch that customers actually paid for

• Excellent in Illustrator / CAD tools / PLM systems
