The Opportunity We work on problems of scale on the data and control planes and learn about complex distributed systems. Develop a deep understanding of complex distributed systems. Feature development for Nutanix Objects - A Simple, Secure Scalable Object storage About the Team At Nutanix, you will be joining the Objects team, a dynamic and diverse group of individuals spread across the US and India. You will report to the Naveen G Technical Director, a seasoned professional who values mentorship and supports team members in reaching their full potential. The work setup at Nutanix is hybrid, requiring employees to be in the office three days a week. This allows for a balance between in-person collaboration and remote work flexibility. Your Role Feature development for Nutanix objects. Develop a deep understanding of complex distributed systems and debugging issues in the customer environment Work closely with other development teams, testers, documentation writers and product management to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment BTech/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field 4 - 8 years of experience in storage or related fields. What You Will Bring Experience with storage systems and/or analytics Understanding of scalable distributed systems Proficiency in either of the following languages: C++/Go Experience working on Linux Breadth of systems - across data and control planeGood to know: Stats, Alerts and Analytic frameworks RPCs and RESTful APIs Work Arrangement Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence.
