The Opportunity
Join the 
Gen AI Experiences team
 within the 
Adobe Experience Platform
, where you’ll contribute to building 
cloud-native backend services
 that power Generative AI-driven experiences across Adobe Experience Cloud.This is a hands-on development role for engineers eager to work on 
high-scale distributed systems
 and learn how 
AI and data-driven capabilities
 are transforming digital marketing and customer experiences. You’ll work alongside senior engineers and architects who will mentor and guide you as you grow your expertise in Java, cloud, and AI-integrated services.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain Java-based microservices and APIs supporting AI and data workflows. 
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design, implement, test, and deploy new service features. 
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning to ensure quality and alignment. 
- Build and improve cloud-native services using modern frameworks (Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes). 
- Contribute to integration and testing of AI/ML components in collaboration with data and ML teams. 
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with a focus on maintainability and performance. 
- Investigate and resolve production issues, driving improvements in reliability and observability. 
- Know the latest with emerging tools, frameworks, and AI technologies to continually enhance your skills. 
 
What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
- 2–4 years of professional experience in software development using Java. 
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design, algorithms, and data structures. 
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks for building RESTful APIs. 
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). 
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines. 
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts or eagerness to learn how AI systems are built and deployed. 
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. 
- A growth mindset with enthusiasm for learning from peers and contributing to a high-impact AI team.
