We are pleased to announce the upcoming Impartiality Safeguard Committee (ISC) Meeting, scheduled to be held virtually in the 4th week of January 2026. This important forum is dedicated to strengthening transparency, integrity, and impartial decision-making within our certification and inspection activities.

The ISC plays a vital role in ensuring fairness, objectivity, and ethical conduct, reinforcing confidence among stakeholders and supporting a strong culture of governance and accountability.

We welcome participation from interested and relevant stakeholders, including:

• Clients and customers of certification bodies
• Manufacturers, suppliers, and users
• Conformity assessment professionals
• Representatives from industry associations
• Government and regulatory authorities
• NGOs and consumer organizations

🏛 Structure of the Impartiality Safeguard Committee

• Members are appointed by the Managing Director for a minimum tenure of three years (extendable as required).
• The ISC meets annually (virtually or physically), with additional meetings convened when necessary.

🎯 Benefits & Compensation

• External ISC members are not employees of Markek and therefore do not receive a salary.
• However, for physical meetings, conveyance, food, and refreshments are provided.
