Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technician to join our research team at SJRI. The role involves supporting various research projects, including those focused on nutrition, public health, and health technology. The position encompasses responsibilities in handling technical aspects of studies such as longitudinal, interventional, observational, cohort studies, and randomized controlled trials.

Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Medical Technician in a clinical or research setting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Collect and process patient biological samples (blood, urine, saliva and stool) for laboratory analysis.

Manage the setup, installation, and configuration of complex machinery and devices.

Perform diagnostic tests and procedures using medical equipment.

Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in clinical operations.

Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance. Perform quality control checks and resolve technical issues. Prepare technical reports, logs, and maintenance schedules. Supervise daily technical activities to ensure productivity. Stay updated on technological advancements and recommend upgrades.
