Job Description

A medical recruitment consultant identifies, screens, and places qualified healthcare professionals in suitable positions by managing the entire hiring process, from sourcing and interviewing to negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance. Key responsibilities include developing client relationships, understanding organizational needs, sourcing candidates through various channels, conducting interviews and background checks, coordinating with hiring managers, and maintaining applicant tracking systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition: Proactively source and attract healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and allied health staff, using job boards, professional networks, and direct outreach.
  • Candidate Screening & Management: Screen resumes, conduct phone screens, and manage candidate pipelines, ensuring a high standard of qualified applicants.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and facilitate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, acting as a liaison throughout the process.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with both healthcare organizations (clients) and job-seeking candidates.
  • Process Management: Handle all aspects of the recruitment process, from understanding client needs to negotiating employment offers and facilitating onboarding.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on healthcare industry trends, regulations, and best hiring practices to provide expert advice.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate candidate data in applicant tracking systems (ATS), post job ads, and provide excellent customer service.
