Ensuring accuracy and completeness: Reviews claims data to ensure correct coding, proper documentation, and necessary authorizations. Collaborating with billing: Works with the billing department to ensure timely payment of bills. Communicating with insurance companies: Addresses coding errors and disputes with insurance providers. Data analysis and reporting: Contributes to data analysis and research by submitting statistical data. Professional development: Keeps up-to-date with the latest medical coding guidelines and regulations. Verifying documentation: Reviews documentation for accuracy and completeness.
