Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Medical Accountant role based in Dehradun. The Medical Accountant will handle financial accounts related to medical services, manage billing and insurance claims, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records. Responsibilities include reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and collaborating with healthcare providers to address financial queries. The role demands a high level of precision and a strong understanding of medical and financial data.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and medical billing systems
• Knowledge of insurance claims and regulatory compliance within the healthcare industry
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities with medical professionals and administrative staff
• Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; additional certifications such as CPA or CMA are advantageous
• Previous experience in a healthcare or medical accounting role is a plus
